About us

Dr. Smaragda Tsaousi is a specialised dermatologist – venereologist, having graduated from Novi Sad Medical School with honors.
Upon returning to Greece, she starts working at the Medical Centre of Ippokrateio Kos Hospital. She has worked for several years in the departments of Pathology and Pathological Oncology at Laiko General Hospital of Athens, Agios Savvas Regional Cancer Hospital and Metropolitan Hospital. 
She completed her specialty in Dermatology – Venereology at the major Dermatology Hospital in Greece, the Dermatological and Venereological Hospital Andreas Syggros, where she actively contributed to the Pigmented Lesion & Melanoma Clinic.

Dr. Smaragda Tsaousi completed her Thesis at the Athens University Medical School, on the following: “DNA ploides as a factor of prognosis in advanced colon cancer.”
During her career, she has published numerous articles in international scientific magazines and she has been involved in multiple conference presentations.  
She is a member of the Hellenic Society of Dermatology & Venereology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV),  and the Hellenic Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Constantly taking part in conferences both in Greece and internationally, Dr. Smaragda Tsaousi remains up-to-date and thoroughly trained in the field of clinical dermatology and the latest advancements in cosmetic and surgical dermatology.
