Skinboosters
They are also called skin quality therapies. They are a new class of injectable hyaluronic acid materials, something in between the classic hyaluronic acid fillers and mesotherapy solutions. Instead of the injection being done under the skin to give volume, it is done inside the skin by stimulating collagen production by fibroblasts, enhancing skin quality and achieving substantial and measurable thickening of the skin. This means improved fine lines, brighter, glowing and firmer skin (Think of your skin as a sponge and hyaluronic acid as water - hyaluronic holds up to 1000 times its weight in water - and remember how much the sponge swells when the water drops!)
How long does the action of Skin Boosters last?
The duration of the effect is 9 months, at which time the application can be repeated.
Is the result immediately visible after the treatment?
No, immediately afterwards you will not notice any particular change in skin texture. After 7-10 days, however, the skin will be improved, i.e. firmer, thicker, more radiant and so well hydrated that the use of day cream will seem redundant.
In which areas are Skin Boosters applied?
The treatment is applied to the face, neck, décolleté and hands. After a topical anesthetic cream is applied, the hyaluronic is administered by micro-injections with a very fine needle, while the material itself contains lidocaine (anesthetic) to make the application even more painless.
In which cases is treatment with Skin Boosters indicated?
It can be used at all ages. On younger skin for texture improvement, radiance and hydration, and on more mature skin for rejuvenation, thickening of the skin, increasing its elasticity and firmness. We have particularly good results on "smoker's wrinkles" on the upper lip.
